Quote of the Day

Friday Poetry

I'm posting this as a sort of incantation, with hope that August will recall her true sunny nature and shed these gray clouds of gloom she has been wearing recently.
Fairest of the months; ripe Summer's Queen
The hey-day of the year
With robes that gleam with sunny sheen
Sweet August doth appear
